Po pierwsze pragne Wam wszystkim zlozyc najserdeczniejsze zyczenia wszelkiej pomyslnosci w Nowym Roku 2013!
Dzis chcialabym Was zabrac z wizyta do Apulii, regionu polozonego na samym "obcasie" wloskiego buta.
Wyjechalam z zimnego i deszczowego Turynu, a tam przywitalo mnie piekne slonko i wspaniale widoki.
First, I wish you a warm Happy New Year 2013!
Today I would like to take you on a trip to Puglia, a region located on the "heel" of Italian shoe.
Martina Franca (Puglia) - a really lovely city, located on the route between Bari and Taranto. I was able to spend two days there in October and I have to admit that I really liked the place. I came away from the cold and rainy Turin, and there welcomed me with beautiful slonko and great views.
In the city and its surroundings, in a diameter of about 40 km, you will see the “trulli”, the only one in the world! The trulli are formerly houses for families. Today, they are often a part of the larger houses or boutique hotels and small guest houses, which are great tourist attraction. They have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is why every owner of trulli is obliged to take care of them and they absolutely can not ruffle. Repair and maintenance costs are quite high because it has to preserve its original shape.

Besides
the famous trulli
there is also the center of the city. Here it seems to live in one of Spanish, or rather Andalusian towns -
compact construction and white
bungalows (also typical for this region
of Italy). In addition to its architecture, I loved
the "floor", which under
the night light it look like a freshly washed floor.
In the
center of Plebiscito Square there is the beautiful Basilica of San Martino, which seems to be even
greater than it is in reality.
A na zakonczenie piekny zachod slonca w Martina Franca...
A beautiful sunset ending our visit in Martina Franca ...
