Settimo Torinese (Piemont) - to kolejne z miast praktycznie polaczonych z Turynem. Zamieszkiwane jest przez ponad 40 tysiecy osob i polozone z polnocno-wschodniej strony stolicy Piemontu.
Moim zdaniem miasto nie nalezy niestety do najpiekniejszych. Pelne jest blokowisk, wysokich budynkow budowanych "na szybko" dla licznie przybywajacych robotnikow z poludniowych regionow kraju. Wszystko to w mysl zasady, aby na stosunkowo niewielkiej powierzchni ulokowac jak najwieksza ilosc osob zapominajac czesto o zieleni czy niewielkich parkach...:-/
Na szczescie w ostatnich latach zaczeto powoli odrestaurowywac najstarsza czesc miasta, nadajac dwom glownym ulicom - Via Italia i Via Torino troche kolorow i wygladu. W samym sercu tzw. starego miasta znajduje sie kosciol sw. Piotra, choc prosty z architektonicznego punktu widzenia to jednak posiada swoj urok.
Settimo Torinese (Piedmont) - it is another town virtually connected to Turin. With about 40 thousand inhabitants it is situated in the northeastern part of the capital of Piedmont.
In my opinion, the city is not - unfortunately - one of the most beautiful around Turin. It is full of blocks of flats, high buildings built "fast" for many workers arrived from the southern regions of Italy. In a relatively small area where are located so many people there are not neither small green parks ... :-/
Fortunately, in recent years, the oldest part of the town was restored. There are two main streets - Via Italia and Via Torino. In the heart of the so-called old town there is alsa a simple church, but however with its charm.

W poblizu kosciola znajduje sie Municipio, czyli urzad miejski, jeden z najwiekszych buynkow w tej czesci miasta.
The church is located near the Town Hall, one of the largest building in this part of the town.
Obrzeza zas to fabryki, fabryki, fabryki...Szkoda, ze czasem chcac zbudowac jak najwiecej mieszkan dla robotnikow w poblizu miejsc pracy zapomina sie o naturze i odrobinie zieleni...
Around the town we find a lots of factories ... It is a pity that sometimes there are so many buildings and factories and so little green arounf them ...
Gdyby nie urokliwa wieża kościelna to pomyślałabym, że to jakieś miasto za wschodnią granicą Polski.
