MAZZE' - Miasteczko z zamkiem - The town with a castle

Mazzè (Piemont) - to niewielkie aczkolwiek urocze miasteczko polozone okolo godziny jazdy samochodem od Turynu. Podzielic je mozna na dwie czesci - dolna, bardzej nowoczesna, gdzie znajduja sie szkoly czy glowne urzedy, oraz gorna ktora tak naprawde jest punktem odwiedzin turystow.

Mazzè (Piedmont) - it is a small but charming town located about an hour's drive from Turin. It  can be divided into two parts - the lower part, more modern, and the upper part that really is the point of tourist visiting.

W gornej czesci znajduje sie stara osada, ktora dawniej stanowila centrum miasteczka i jego zycia, a jej centralnym punktem jest przepiekny zamek. Najstarsza czesc zamku pochodzi z XIV wieku i zostala znudowana w sredniowiecznym stylu. Nastepnie w XIX wieku dobudowano dodatkowa czesc, ktora widocznie rozni sie juz stylem o pierwotnej czesci.

The top part of the town is an old settlement, which once was the center of the town and its life and its focal point is the beautiful castle. The oldest part of the castle dates from the fourteenth century and was built in gothic style. Then, in the nineteenth century was built an additional part, which is in typical medieval style.

Dookola zamku wznosi sie twierdza z murami obronnymi - dzis porosnieta drzewami i roslinnoscia, calosc prezentuje sie naprawde pieknie.

 Around the castle stands the fortress walls - today overgrown with trees and vegetation, whole looks really beautiful.

Niestety na teren zamku nie mozna bylo wejsc. Jakis czas temu zostal on kupiony przez Rosjan, ktorzy w najstarszej jego czesci urzadzili sobie rezydencje. Obiecali udostepniac nie zamieszkana przez siebie czesc dla turystow jeden raz w miesiacu, ale jak dotad drzwi sa zamkniete...A szkoda...Od lokalnych mieszakncow dowiedzielismy sie, ze w palacowych ogrodach nastapilo kilka zmian - np. obecni mieszkancy zapragneli miec tam basen! Moze kiedys uda sie zwiedzic rowniez wnetrze...

Unfortunately because the castle is private, it is not possible to enter and to visit it. Recently it was bought by Russian people, whom in the oldest part of it arranged their residence. They promised to open the uninhabited part of the castle to visitors at least once a month, but so far the doors are still closed ... A pity ... People say that the new owners of the castle would like to make in the gardens a swimming pool ! Maybe in the next months the castle will be again oper to tourists.

W poblizu zamku znajduje sie kilka pieknych rezydencji - wielowiekowe wille dzis albo zamieszale, albo przeksztalcone w roznego rodzaju struktury. Budynek ponizej to "moj faworyt" ze wzgkledu na kolorystyke i pnace roze.

 

Near the castle there are several beautiful residences and old villas.

W osadzie znajduja sie rowniez dwa koscioly - jeden parafialny, udostepniony dla turystow i drugi znacznie mniejszy polozony na terenie casa di cura (wloski odpowiednik sanatorium).

 In the village there are also two churches – the fiorst one, opened to tourists and the other one much smaller located in the “casa di cura” (Italian equivalent of the sanatorium).
